SCO Avoids Suing themselves, Abandons Linux for NetBSD/OpenBSD
Submitted by Willy Smith on 31 January, 2004 - 16:16.
In a surprise move, SCO today changed their servers from Linux to NetBSD/OpenBSD, according to the Netcraft.com site. Current speculations on the reasoning include the observation that by switching, SCO will not be infringing upon their own patents and copyrights, and will be exempt from paying themselves royalties.
