Notes on the New Year from the Blogs of the Asylum.
The inmates seemed to have settled down a bit since they celebrated their festivals, which apparently had something to do with a giant ball dropping in New York City. I expect in a few years they will figure out how to make it bounce annually. It's like making a bed... why make it if you're going to get into it later? Why put the ball away if you're going to use it next year?
That's why they are inmates, I suppose.
One Raving Lunatic wrote some comments on file sharing. I think this person is probably ready to get out of the Asylum.
Apparently, Norton Anti-virus 2004 is getting raving-mad reviews. I don't think they have anything that runs on GNU/Linux, but, hey - this is the Asylum we're talking about. Besides, who needs something to slow down an OS?
WorldChanging.com got wind of Simputers, which, of course, run GNU/Linux. They also Open Source Textbooks, which is pretty froody, but not quite hip enough to be unable to see over it's collective pelvis. Fork, there is no spoon.
Signs of Sanity in Ireland.
Sanity is catching in a Canadian political weblog...
Oh. SCO is still recruiting lunatics, trying to corner the market.
Toothpick sales, after a plummet in sales, seem to be creeping back up the NYSE. Maybe they are looking for the missing ball.
Why doesn't anyone ever look for the ball? It must be multidimensional...
