Linux for Ham Radio - The ARRL starts a Linux column

The ARRL has started a Linux column. The first one, called "A Free Lunch - Linux for Hams", just mentions some links. The author states he is afraid of using Linux because he is afraid he will become addicted to it.

The second article elaborates on the availability of Mandrake Linux, but contains little more information. However, since Linux already has a fair amount of use in the field of radio communications, we can look forward to more information to come from the ARRL site.

Hmm...

The reason I never got my HAM license is because I was too busy fiddling with computers... Maybe it would be worth some time to go get a HAM license.
