[Germany] SCO Fined 10,000 Euros for FUD

Story from Golem.de (German) Babelfish English

Story from ARNnet.au (English)

This fine comes three months after Tarent and LinuxTag had filed against SCO, and SCO failed to take offending material from their web site. SCO is appealing the decision. The ARNnet article quote Andreas Gebhard, LinuxTag spokesperson as saying, "Since the Munich court ruling, SCO had been enjoined in Germany from saying the Linux source code contains intellectual property violations. They are not allowed to say this in Germany because this is not true. They cannot justify this."
