Cyril Konyagin, Division Leader of the development team for ASPLinux, is interviewed and talks about the development process and the features of ASPLinux. The release is available in three different versions with varying levels of documentation and included applications. Cyril says also that a full range of support is available, from simple questions to application porting, all in Russian.

He also gives the links to download the ISO CD images directly from their FTP server. This boxed release should make life easy for first-time Russian users of Linux, as it includes a full documentation set printed in Russian.

A SCO excutive announced in an interview today, "There is a rumour that SCO doesn't own any patents on the Russian language, but if that is true then how did Microsoft license the Russian language patents from us?"
