"SCO wants to use the courts to attack us [the Linux Community] and claim control of the Linux code; let's make them rue the day they thought this was a good idea, by proving that they have no trade secrets."

The idea is that maybe SCO has no case because other events have nullified any trade secrecy involved (see link on No Secrets page). Mr. Raymond is looking for people who might have had access to the disputed code without correct non-disclosure protocol being enforced.
The high profile of this case may backfire on SCO. This also may make the Microsoft licensing deal with SCO a waste of money...
