The anti-corruption commision of the Republic of Macedonia on its meeting early yesterday discussed about the strategic partnership between Microsoft and the Government. The report sent to the Macedonian media said: "because of the agreement which was signed in a untransparent maneer and without a public tender, the Government will enter in a long term addiction to Microsoft and its products, directly creating another monopoly in the country". The government signed the agreement without a clear IT strategy, ignoring the suggestions and warnings that were sent by the organization "Free Software Macedonia" and John Mad Dog Hall.
