Scotland: 80% of Public Libraries Stock OpenOffice Applications CD's

If you live in Scotland, chances are four in five that you can go to the library, borrow a CD, and take it home to install OpenOffice on your computer. The CD includes versions for Windows, Linux, and Apple operating systems. This is all due to an effort by Bob Kerr, a member of the Edinburgh Linux Users Group, who has spent £5,000 of his own money implementing the idea. For the whole article, take a look here.
